Mixed Media Artist Retreats

We hosted mixed media artist, April Sproule in September for a five-day retreat that was enjoyed by all the participants.
There are no scheduled mixed media workshops or retreats scheduled for the remainder of 2025. However, if you are a mixed media artist/instructor or know someone who would be interested in teaching a mixed media workshop or retreat, please get in touch with us.
Our center provides ample space and a comfortable setting that is secluded enough to ensure uninterrupted focus on your painting. There will be no distractions to hinder your creative process.
Nestled in the town of La Veta, our center is situated in a beautiful mountain town perfect for landscape or plein air painting. Our distinctive community is known for its artists and ranching, and you'll find delightful local restaurants, shops, and art galleries that add to the magic of the area.
