In this five-day retreat, we will begin with a work of art as inspiration for an abstract quilt design. It can be a painting you admire, a photograph, a graphic design, or anything else you find inspiring. We will be using the source as inspiration only for color and shape---not representing the work itself.

In this four-day workshop we will be playing with different sized Drunkard’s Path blocks, color grading, and wedges to create an optical illusion quilt. Jenny Haynes will guide you through the many possibilities while encouraging individuality and creativity.

Jane Sassaman

In this five-day retreat, you will stylize some of your favorite characters in nature and arrange them into an interlacing appliquéd fabric collage, a colorful and graphic “Totem of Life.”
