About Georgia Mansur
Georgia Mansur is an internationally acclaimed artist and educator whose career spans decades. In 1984, she left California for Australia, developing a love for landscape art inspired by the country’s diverse landscapes. She first used oils, but later found watercolors easier to work with, particularly as a mother of three. Mansur focuses on evoking emotion, not perfect realism. This approach, honed through extensive study with leading artists in Australia, Italy, and the US, has led to her signature style.
Mansur is a highly sought-after instructor, having taught workshops internationally for many years. She’s still teaching at US art conventions (2022), is an artist in residence at Emirates Wolgan Valley, and an international ambassador for Daniel Smith Paints. Plein Air, Watercolor, and Southwest Art are just a few of the magazines that have showcased her work, confirming her status as a leading contemporary artist. She continues to teach and exhibit her work widely, sharing her passion and expertise with aspiring artists globally.
